Welcome to:
Blooming Language Learners
At Blooming Language Learners, I am passionate about supporting infants, toddlers, and young children, as well as their families, during the most important years of development. My community-based classes provide engaging opportunities for children to build early communication, language, social-emotional, sensory, and play skills through developmentally appropriate activities led by me, Erin Mance, a licensed speech-language pathologist. Current class offerings are for all families of young children in the South Bay community, 5-36 months of age.
I also offer parent trainings designed to empower caregivers with practical strategies to support language development, learning, and meaningful interactions throughout everyday routines. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where children can thrive, parents can feel confident, and families can build strong foundations for lifelong communication and learning.

Baby/Toddler SUMMER CAMPS (July 6-10, July 13-17)
This unique camp is designed and led by a licensed speech-language pathologist and focuses on supporting early communication, play, social interaction, and overall development through fun, engaging, play-based activities.
Each camp day includes music, movement, sensory experiences, books, hands-on play, and interactive activities specifically chosen to encourage language development and connection between children and caregivers. Our goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where little ones can learn, explore, and build foundational communication skills naturally through play!
The camp is perfect for infants and toddlers at a variety of developmental stages, including little ones who may benefit from extra language stimulation or social opportunities.

PARENT TRAINING: Monday night June 15th at 8:00pm
Join me for an engaging evening Zoom workshop designed for parents and caregivers who want to better understand how children learn to communicate. Held after bedtime, this presentation will explore the key milestones of early language development, practical strategies to support communication at home, and simple ways to encourage language growth during everyday routines. Perfect for parents of infants and toddlers, this informative session provides valuable tools to help your child's communication skills flourish.
Meet Erin:
Hi there!!! I am Erin Mance (aka Miss Erin :), founder and owner of Blooming Language Learners Speech Therapy Services & Play Clinic, Inc. I have been a certified speech-language pathologist for 25 years, the last 18 of those years spent here in the South Bay. I spent my first 11 years working in school districts providing services in special needs preschool programs, Head Start classrooms, and elementary schools (Kindergarten to 6th grade, including SDC programming). Prior to moving to the South Bay I lived in Phoenix and worked PRN (a few hours per week) at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, providing speech and language intervention for a variety of young children. The last 14 years I have worked strictly in Early Intervention with little ones 18 months to 3 years of age.
I have always been fascinated and in awe of how the brain develops and works, especially in regard to communication development. I don’t just look at the activities we engage our children in as just “something to do”, but as something that is wiring the brain in that moment! I love teaching families how ALL modalities of learning help to build language/brain connections, especially pairing motor movements with language specific tasks. It is so enjoyable to see their reactions when they start to see the connections being made! Over the years I have taken note of how mastery of “purposeful” movement is often greatly tied together with how a child builds their speech and language and so I implement movement into my therapy sessions for all ages. Sensory regulation is also a significant factor and, therefore, sensory integration activities are also incorporated into sessions as well, for those who need it!
Family involvement is greatly important to each child’s success and parent participation is part of my therapy services. I thrive on teaching families how they can begin to see EVERY moment as a speech and language opportunity, helping to take the pressure off of feeling like they have to “add” specialized moments into their already busy day. My motto has been: “If YOU aren’t having fun, then they aren’t having fun”……and what’s the fun in that?! : )
I look forward to working with you! ~Erin

No!!! ALL are welcome! These classes are enrichment classes for all babies and toddlers in the community. This is not speech therapy, but it is a program led by a certified speech-language pathologist to teach parents specific tips and tricks on how to encourage and build early language development all while their babies engage in socialization, exploration, and play through sensory rich, language filled experiences. It is also a time for you to bond with your child as well as to develop happy and joyful relationships with others in this community!!!
